High Availability for LAMP-based collaboration solution
Zarafa is a software package that allows customers to share e-mail and calendars via Microsoft Outlook, Personal Digital Assistants (PDA’s), or a web-based AJAX application. It serves as a fully MAPI-compliant drop-in replacement for Microsoft Exchange. The entire suite is fully Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP) based.
Florian Haas, Partner Relationship Manager at LINBIT, comments that “DRBD is a highly versatile and flexible storage replication technology that blends perfectly into the existing Zarafa service stack. In our presentation, we are about to show how to extend that stack with fully open-source, shared-nothing High Availability.”
The Zarafa Summer Camp is an annual event where Zarafa partners, customers, and developers gather to share and exchange ideas about Zarafa. This year, LINBIT is participating for the first time. The Camp is held in Dilbeek, just outside Brussels, Belgium.
